High Quality
Vitrified wheel has high precision and even amount of grinding on both sides due to fixed abrasive grain without warping (Adjustment of amount of grinding is available with speed adjustment for upper and lower wheel). Also, polished products have excellent surface roughness with reproducibility.
Workpiece with holes or grooves can be polished without impact.
Longer Lifecycle of Wheel
The more dressing is performed, the shorter the lifecycle of the wheel is. However, SYD vitrified wheel has long lifecycle due to high grindability.
Cost and Time Saving
Polishing time is five time faster than the existing resin bond diamond pellet wheel. Also, it does not need multi-stage complicated ultrasonic hot water cleaning. General cleaning is enough.

CBN is boron nitride(BN) made from the reaction between nitrogen and boron, a part of boride. It is also called CBN(cubic boron nitride) due to cubic crystal structure like diamond. Hardness is lower than diamond, but diamond is worn after starting oxidation on 600~700℃ in the air. However, CBN is not oxidized on high temperature of 1,370℃, and it does not react with iron rarely worn. Therefore, vitrified diamond wheel is mainly used for polishing non-heat treated products including steel, and vitrified CBN wheel is mainly used for polishing nonferrous metal and heat treat products.
